Sunny New Years Eve..... What a wonderful time for a wedding. Bringing the new year in with friends and family and at your wedding... doesn't get any better than this. The reception was at the Alumni Center... Wedding planner Amy Forman with Paypaya did a wonderful job. The decorations were stunning. Can't wait to see the professional pics on this one. The bride chose white roses for her bouquet and her attendants carried white mini callas with black pearls in each bloom.

We haven't really shared much about our cut flower farm but it is time for that to change! We are honored to be able to provide our customers with many locally grown flowers! The owner of A Country Rose , Annette started farming on an acre at her home in Wakulla County about eight years ago. She has since moved herself and her farm to a new location with more space for growth (pun intended). Annette and her husband Ed are the ones who make all the magic happen. The most current tasks around the farm as of the last couple of weeks is a reworking of all the beds. They've been pulling up all the irrigation, laying new rows which includes 100's of tractor loads of compost and mulch then re-laying of black ground cover (to keep weeds at bay), white ground cover (to keep the black from burning the flowers) and then replacement of the irrigation.
