Hydrangea, Tallahassee Florist

These beautiful blooms are popular for there large, showy heads, comprising of dense clusters of small petal-like sepals. Hydrangeas are available in whites, pinks, lilacs, blues, and  greens. They are available all year-round as cut flowers. Peak season is from March to October. Cut hydrangeas are heavy drinkers and require lots of water. So check the level of you water daily and re-cut the stems every other day. Frequent misting is also beneficial for the flowers at room temperature.  If they do wilt, no worry just put the seems in almost boiling water for about 30 seconds and place back in water and watch them as they come back to life. Vase life for the hydrangea is 7 to 10 days.   

American Heart Associations Heart Ball

What a wonderful time we had. The heart ball was held this year at the Alumni Center on March 4th. The theme was "The Beat Goes On" and based around the 70's. Here are some snapshots.  "From Bucket to Bouquet "
