 When deciding the style of your wedding. The first thing I recommend you do is to decide on your color palette.  As you see here Alex selected shades of pink, white, greens and gray. Using these color throughout the wedding will create cohesiveness. The shades of pink, white and greens are seen on the invitation, the bridal bouquet and the girl's dresses. One of our weddings this past weekend featured beautiful blue and white hydrangeas, mini green hydrangeas, yellow garden roses, and yellow and white calla lilies. Take a look at some of the stunning photos we snapped of this gorgeous day! This was the bride's bouquet. Isn't it gorgeous? We decorated it with hydrangeas, magnolia leaves and curry willow crawling up and weaving throughout. The family had this lovely seating area set up for guests to lounge and enjoy wedding festivities. The family also had this charming area for the men to spoke a cigar and enjoy a drink or two. Take a minute to meet one of our designers, Jessie. She has been working with flowers for over 50 years and was blessed with natural talent. She started making arrangements at the age of 16 using the flowers from her mother's garden. Neighbors and friends soon started asking her to make bouquets for them and so she started working at at a local florist here in Tallahassee after school. She would walk from Leon to work and says she remembers her first real design work was making boutonnières for all the ministers at First Baptist Church. They were featured on TV and she was so proud to see her work on the air! After high school she went to New Orleans School of Floral Design before moving back to Tallahassee and eventually opening her own shop, Jessie's at Carriage Gate. Each piece has been carefully picked and added to our charming collection by our owner, Annette McGuffey. Our inventory is growing daily and we are more than pleased to try and find any piece that is not currently in house for you – Just ask! When looking for a venue for your wedding you might consider Shiloh Farms out on Benjamin Chairs Road in Tallahassee. It has an adorable Chapel and a rustic old barn.
