Wedding at Shiloh Farms by Tallahassee Florist

When looking for a venue for your wedding you might consider Shiloh Farms out on Benjamin Chairs Road in Tallahassee. It has an adorable Chapel and a rustic old barn. There is also large old oak trees and lots of green fields and woods. Visit their website for more details.

Our brides bouquets were crafted with green mini hydrangea white roses, dark blue delphinium and gold billy balls hand tied and wrapped in a shear champagne ribbon .

    I love flowers in Florida, whenever I'm there it is always such a great experience and the wild flowers and nature are by far the best part. I'm planning a late summer trip just so I can do nature walks and go spot exotic flowers out! I'll be in Palm Bay! Beautiful and lots of flowers! I cannot wait, also because the Palm Bay Hotel (www.palmbay-hotel.com) is so cheap and in a great location.

Locally Grown; Our Flower Farm | Farm to Florist | Tallahassee, Florida

We haven't really shared much about our cut flower farm but it is time for that to change! We are honored to be able to provide our customers with many locally grown flowers! The  owner of  A  Country  Rose ,   Annette started farming on an acre at her home in Wakulla County about eight years ago. She has since moved herself and her farm to a new location with more space for growth (pun intended). Annette  and her husband Ed are the ones who make all the magic  happen.  The most current tasks around  the  farm as of the last  couple  of weeks is a reworking of all the beds. They've been pulling up all the irrigation, laying new rows which includes 100's of tractor loads of compost and mulch then re-laying of black ground cover (to keep weeds at bay), white ground cover (to keep the black from burning the flowers) and then replacement of the irrigation.  It's a lot of work but the  results will be amazing and below is a sneak peek of what we are  harvesting  right now.
