Budd and Filmore Wedding Tallahassee Florida

October was our busiest wedding month this year. I will share more weddings as I get pictures.  It was so much fun and each and every bride was a joy to work with.

Amy Forman with Payapa Wedding Planning did an awesome job bringing this event together. She is always a pleasure to work with. Christie Meresse was the photographer and that is how I am able to share these beautiful pictures.

The Brides Colors where shades of purple. Her flower Choices were hydrangea, roses, tulips & calla lillies.

The setting was Goodwood Museum and Garden.

Pomanders handing from chairs made with purple carnations.

Tall vases with branches and purple hydrangea add height.
Cylinder glass vases filled with purple tulips centerpiece.

I am loving this one, with purple hydrangeas calla lilies, and tulips in a cylinder clear glass vase.

The bride and groom went with cupcakes Lucy and Leo's Cupcakery instead of the traditional cake.

The brides bouquet: all white & cream hand tied with hydrangea, roses and ranunculus.

Locally Grown; Our Flower Farm | Farm to Florist | Tallahassee, Florida

We haven't really shared much about our cut flower farm but it is time for that to change! We are honored to be able to provide our customers with many locally grown flowers! The  owner of  A  Country  Rose ,   Annette started farming on an acre at her home in Wakulla County about eight years ago. She has since moved herself and her farm to a new location with more space for growth (pun intended). Annette  and her husband Ed are the ones who make all the magic  happen.  The most current tasks around  the  farm as of the last  couple  of weeks is a reworking of all the beds. They've been pulling up all the irrigation, laying new rows which includes 100's of tractor loads of compost and mulch then re-laying of black ground cover (to keep weeds at bay), white ground cover (to keep the black from burning the flowers) and then replacement of the irrigation.  It's a lot of work but the  results will be amazing and below is a sneak peek of what we are  harvesting  right now.
